Bethany is an English Language teacher at Bridge2Rwanda, where she equips Scholars with English expression and critical thinking skills to take on the rigorously interactive academic environments they will face. She works with Scholars in class and individually to prepare them for the TOEFL exam and build their confidence as learners.
Bethany is happy to continue her Great Lakes (USA) to Great Lakes (East Africa) connection. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Global Studies/French and TESL certificate and subsequently served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Rwanda. Prior to joining B2R, she pursued an M.A. in education and international development at the University College London Institute of Education. Bethany maintains that no matter the classroom or program she finds herself in, she learns as much or more than her students.
