Duane Donner, Managing Partner of Founders Investment Banking

Duane Donner is Managing Partner of Founders Investment Banking, a merger, acquisition & strategic advisory firm that serves middle-market companies. Duane began Founders in 2003 based on the guiding principle of the Golden Rule Plus: treat people as you’d want to be treated and beyond. Today, Founders is a growing team of professionals dedicated to serving clients all over the country and across a broad range of industries.

Duane and his family have been active members of Church of the Highlands since its early days. He serves many community-based civic organizations and ministries, including the Rotary Club of Birmingham, Highlands College and Young Life Outdoor Advisory Team.

Duane received his Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and his M.B.A. from the University of Alabama’s Manderson Graduate School of Business. He served in the Army Reserves for six years and ended his military service as a 1st Lt. Infantry officer in a Mechanized Infantry Brigade. Duane resides in Birmingham with his wife, Amy, and their three daughters, Mary Kathryn, Saige and Isabella, two sons-in-law and a granddaughter.
